GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Dental and Medical Sciences (IJMRBPDMS) invites researchers, academicians, and professionals to submit their manuscripts for publication. Authors are requested to follow the below guidelines carefully to ensure smooth processing and publication of their work.

Types of Manuscripts Accepted

International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Dental and Medical Sciences (IJMRBPDMS) publishes various categories of scholarly work including original research articles, review papers, case reports, and short communications. Original research articles should present novel findings with detailed methodology and results, usually between 3000 to 6000 words. Review articles provide a comprehensive analysis of existing literature on a specific theme and may range from 4000 to 8000 words. Case reports should describe unique or rare cases in detail and are generally limited to 1500–3000 words. Short communications are concise reports of innovative findings and are usually 1000–3000 words in length.

Manuscript Preparation

All manuscripts must be submitted in English and preferably in Microsoft Word format. Authors should use Times New Roman font, size 12, with double spacing and one-inch margins throughout the document. The title page must clearly state the title of the manuscript, full names of all authors, their affiliations, and contact information of the corresponding author. Each manuscript should begin with an abstract of about 150–250 words, followed by four to six keywords. The main text should typically include the following sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), and References.

Figures, Tables, and Illustrations

Figures should be of high resolution and submitted in standard formats such as JPEG or PNG. Tables must be clear, numbered in sequence, and include descriptive titles. Illustrations, if included, must be original or reproduced with proper permissions and acknowledgements.

References

The journal accepts references in APA or Vancouver style. All references cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and vice versa. Proper citation is essential to maintain academic integrity.

Ethical Considerations

Research involving human participants or animals must have prior approval from a recognized ethics committee or institutional review board. Authors must disclose funding sources and declare any conflicts of interest. Manuscripts submitted to IJMRBPDMS should be original and must not be under consideration in any other journal at the time of submission.

Submission Process

All manuscripts should be submitted through the online submission system available on the journal’s website. Each submission should be accompanied by a cover letter highlighting the novelty, importance, and contribution of the work. Authors will receive an acknowledgment email once the submission is successfully received.

Review and Decision

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, clarity, methodology, and contribution to knowledge. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments before final acceptance. The editor makes the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Dental and Medical Sciences (IJMRBPDMS)is an open-access journal. To cover the costs of publication, authors are required to pay a nominal article processing charge after the acceptance of their manuscript. In special cases, waivers or discounts may be provided for authors from economically disadvantaged regions upon request.
